Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive, nonsurgical, office-based esthetic procedure for revitalizing and rejuvenating the skin.

Our office features the DiamondTome Wand, which gently buffs the skin, removing the topmost layer and leaving the skin more supple and vibrant. Unlike other systems, there are no loose particles, so you will not feel gritty or dusty after the treatment.

Microdermabrasion has been shown to provide some benefit in the appearance of post-acne scarring, melasma, and facial aging. It is also helpful in the extraction of whiteheads and blackheads and in the treatment of oily skin.

Microdermabrasion treatments are performed by our licensed esthetician.

This procedure has essentially no down-time. You may look slightly flushed immediately following the procedure, but this will dissipate within 10-30 minutes. You may resume your normal activities immediately.
