Dr. Phillips brings his years of specialized surgical experience to bear in the treatment of patients at Lumiere. One of the founding partners in Lumiere, Dr. Phillips has been performing varicose vein surgery and endovenous laser therapy for varicose veins for more than 15 years.

He received his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Nebraska in 1986 and completed his surgical training in general and vascular surgery at St. Joseph’s hospital in Denver in 1991.

He has taught advanced laparoscopic surgery to surgeons across the U.S. and continues to teach today.

Dr. Phillips is also Co-Founder of Vector Surgical, a medical device company whose products increase accuracy and efficiency in cancer and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Phillips believes the physician has the responsibility to personally evaluate and treat their patients which is the guiding principle of care at Lumiere.
